MAYVIEW MANOR ESTATES - Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Mayview Manor Estates, Blowing Rock, North Carolina is a multi-family residential project. The site originally was the Mayview Manor Hotel, which had been closed for 12 years. It was purchased from the C & S Bank having been previously foreclosed. The site was re-zoned for 90 residential units. The project was developed in three phases. Responsibilities included negotiation and securing of construction and end loan financing as well as selection of architect and general contractor and negotiation of contracts for same, negotiations of demolition contract (Said Haddad) and securing of permits for demolition (old structure directly adjoining Pisgah National Forest). Responsibilities also included all owner functions for development and some marketing activities including sales.
