Role: Due Diligence provider, acquisition strategy and counselor for 1,000 room hotel, 1991

Description: This project was an acquisition strategy for deed in lieu of foreclosure and reposition, renovation, reflag of large oceanfront resort. Our client was Laborer's International Pension Fund.

Outcome: Recommended against acquisition due to estimated capital requirement by client of $9.8 million in 12 months. Client made larger investment; hotel failed.
